BSSC Life Festival

BSSC is a non-profit student’s organization from BINUS University which located in BINUS Square, and we strive to develop BINUS Square boarder’s soft skills as well as hard skills by holding various event and activities. Every year, we hold an annual event called BSSC Festival which served as both entertainment and development in experiences based on the chosen theme each year. This year theme is BSSC LIFE FEST.
Competition, performances, bazaar, seminars will be the highlight on this event. The main point that we want to achieve from this event is to spread awareness and increase concern about how people should be thankful for their life. “Look Back, Be Grateful” will be the tagline that encourages the participant to spread kindness while still having fun.
The theme of our event is BSSC LIFE FEST. LIFE is the abbreviation of Love, Idea, Flavor, and Experience. We raise these themes based on information released by the United Nations in the 2018 World Happiness Report. The information stated that Indonesia is ranked 96 out of 156 countries. Judging from these facts, it can be concluded that the happiness level of Indonesian people was still below average and needs to be improved.

LIFE FEST Competition
2019 BSSC LIFE FEST will hold Photography Competition as a part of our Movement which will be implemented with the hope of being able to spread happiness and story through a picture. We believe photography is the right medium to happiness because a picture is worth a thousand words
Besides photography competition, there are more events that will be held in LIFE FEST such as quick food eating competition with spicy indomie, taichan and ice cream. In addition to quick food eating LIFE FEST will hold games competition as well, and they are FIFA for soccer fans and Tekken arcade gamer fans.
LIFE FEST Workshop
2019 BSSC LIFE FEST will also provide three workshops to apply practical skills for our participant through creative process. The first one is a makeup workshop with the theme of "Soft Makeup" . This workshop will be hosted by MakeOver where they will share the knowledge about how to do soft makeup to enhance our natural beauty. Once the workshop is done MakeOver will provide question and answer session with the trainer followed with voucher distribution from MakeOver.
The second workshop is for communities who like to build Terrariums with the theme of Pokemon. This workshop will teach participants how to create a Pokemon Diorama Workshop and craft it at the same time
And the third workshop is a mixology workshop that will be hosted by Darren Defretes from MIXOLOGY. Darren will show you how to make a summer themed non-alcohol drink and provide hands-on experience with the basic tools, ingredients, and techniques to make an excellent mocktail. Don't worry, It's non-alcohol.
LIFE FEST Talkshow and Performances
2019 BSSC LIFE FEST will also present talk show from Celebrity Fitness and Andovi da Lopez . Celebrity Fitness will talk on how keeping your body fit and healthy. They will share the secrets of how to exercise well and various other tips. The second talk show is “Love Your Life” talk show by Andovi da Lopez , Here he will share insight about loving yourself and our life based on his life experience.
On the peak event of 2019 BSSC LIFE FEST we will present an amazing performance from our guest star featuring Willy Anggawinata. This is a performance that you wouldn't want to miss, so join us in 2019 BSSC LIFE FEST!.
